Day 88: I Look Up

April 29, 2012

I Look Up

I don’t idolize you

Because you are beautiful,

Beauty doesn’t always last.

I don’t respect you

Because you have money,

Money can’t buy my love.

I don’t love you

Because you are perfect,

Perfection is a dream no man can reach.

I look up to you

Because you gave me the one thing I needed most,

A listening ear.

Reorganization process

April 1, 2012

I know I haven’t been posting many poems this past week, but I’ve been trying to organize my schedule to incorporate more posts on the internet.  I will resume the poems shortly, and other media.  As I have promised previously the posts will continue on WordPress, and they will be mixed media for the moment.

Here is another picture I took yesterday morning of a chipmunk that was enjoying a little breakfast.  I hope you all enjoy it.

Day 87: The Pool

March 26, 2012

The Pool

I stare into the pool

Into the world of reflections

And find the face staring back

May not be my own.

Day 85: Reach the Sky

March 22, 2012

Reach the Sky

Even if it takes

Most of my life,

I must continue

Feeding my mind

And stretching my imagination

If I wish to reach the sky.

Day 83: Proceed with Caution

March 18, 2012

Proceed with Caution

It may look interesting

It may look fun,

It may move slow

It may move at a run,

Don’t let that fool you.

It may have fur

It may have scales,

It may be badgers

It may be whales,

Don’t let that fool you.

You might be able to approach it

Or you might not have the time,

Proceed with extreme caution

Or nature will put you in line.

Day 82: I Appreciate

March 17, 2012

I Appreciate

I appreciate

The softness of the feather

As life gives me thorns.

Day 81: Listen to the Young

March 16, 2012

Listen to the Young

They should be seen and not heard

Is a saying that is out dated,

They can give us fresh thoughts,

But only when stated.

When properly encouraged

Their creativity can flourish,

By listening to the young

Their minds can be nourished.

I appreciate all of you who have been liking these poems.

If you want to see an explanation of any of them, go to

Day 79: Worth Fighting For

March 14, 2012

Worth Fighting For

Separated by countries

Families keeping us apart

Telling us we can’t see each other;

Through all the obstacles

We’ve had to overcome,

There is one truth

I’ve come to know,

Love is worth fighting for.

Day 78: Change is Inevitable

March 12, 2012

Change is Inevitable

Industries fail

Technology is always new,

Change is inevitable

But without it

We can not grow.

Day 77: Need to Bust Out

March 11, 2012

Need to Bust Out

I took life too serious

With nothing too frilly,

I need to bust out

And do something silly.

Don’t forget, I post videos  that explain the poems on
