March 23, 2018First Look Photo: Hay Fever Nightmare
July 12, 2017Early in the morning, on my way home from work, I stopped at a bench to take a drink, and noticed what looked like a strange mist coming off some weeds. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it wasn’t a mist, it was pollen being kicked up by the bumble bees landing on them. Hay fever sufferers beware!
First Look Photo: After the Rain
June 7, 2017Sometimes the best pictures happen right after a rain storm, so don’t put away the camera when it rains.
First Look Photo: Shooting Bugles
May 31, 2017This week I found a flower I’ve never seen. It was tiny, purple, and clustered. I did the usual research and found nothing in the books. I finally found it on the internet. First Look Photo: They do Sleep
September 21, 2016Out of all the things that most people never see, including baby pigeons and foxes that climb trees, I’ve seen most of them, but the one thing I never expected to see I saw, and captured this week.
Today is a shot of a bumble bee sleeping, which gave me the opportunity to get several shots without the bee moving. How could I pass up the opportunity.
Photo Friday: To Bee
August 5, 2016This week I was out shooting for my school assignments, when I happened on some cone flowers that were buzzing with bumble bees. With my love of shooting close ups, I couldn’t resist the opportunity. It wasn’t part of my school assignment, but you take the shots as they come.
