Photo Friday: Out of Place?

October 7, 2016

If there is one thing I feel I can pride myself in, it’s the ability to see anything that breaks a pattern.  If something doesn’t seem to fit it becomes a subject for my camera, so when I found a fire hydrant located in the middle of the woods I had to get the shot.

Day 24: Home

January 17, 2012

It’s not in the bricks of your house,

That’s just where you sleep.

You can’t find it

In the city where you live,

Or in the country of your birth.

It’s not something physical

That can be destroyed

By fire or flood.

Home is in the heart

Where no one can take it from you.
