First look Photo: In the Mist

January 10, 2018

Thanks to the sub-zero temperatures, recently, Casco Bay has been shrouded in a mist of sea smoke.  This shot was taken during a temperature of -6.  The mist wasn’t quite so heavy, and looked almost haunting.

Photo Friday: Night Shot

December 8, 2017

The beautiful part of working at night is the opportunities for night photography.  It’s the type of photography that isn’t overdone, because most people are settled in their homes when I’m on my way into work.

This shot is of the park that goes under the Casco Bay Bridge.  It reminds me of the older sepia landscapes, and only a few blue lights in the background betrays that feeling.
